Goodluck Jonathan: My friends and I

Was sent a message by RISE as being nominated to an interactive session with the president and should send a message back to an e-mail address or phone numbers if interested. Even if i wasn't interested for any other reason, make i see the president face-face unlike for tv wey i always dey see am. I did sent it and was sent the details of the programme with theme: "Bring back the book".
Got message that transport to the venue, Expo Hall, Eko Hotels & Suites was free and with that i knew people will rush to attend the programme. Eventually,on the day (20th Dec. 2010), got to BRT busstop at Palmgrove and saw some others and later on, guys started trooping in and we all started looking for BRT buses with posters to convey us to the venue.
However, the mesage stipulated 11am as take off time and before 12 noon, a red bus was waiting some distance away from the brt bus stop, and when approached, it allowed us in after making some calls to confirm and on getting to the venue, the registration desk was filled with participants who were all rushing and not orderly, as a good nigerian, i joined in the hustling.
To make it easy for the organisers, they talked us into going for lunch then get for the reg. Guy at the oceanview restaurant, i thought it was gonna be some kinda of "just chop am like that" but i got Jollof rice, a beef, a chicken and a fish, o boy, i finish am remain just like 6 grains (u see say i try).
Alas, the programme which was supposed to start for 2pm started after 3pm (when will we keep to time?). Anyway, the programme make sense especially with artiste like Dbanj, Tuface, Zaaki, Mocheddah and Psquare who made it hit. I hope nigerians will get back to the reading culture which was the aim of the programme.
